According to recent reports, a 55-year-Milford man who is employed with Saint-Gobain Containers, Inc. is currently in the hospital after a propane tank exploded and he suffered burns to his face. The work related injury apparently occurred when he was filling up a forklift's tank with propane.
Recently, a 41 year old Massachusetts woman who was driving in heavy traffic on Interstate 84 in Middlebury, Connecticut, was struck from behind by another Massachusetts resident, who was behind the wheel of a tractor-trailer. Apparently, the force of the collision caused a chainlike effect and the deceased woman's car struck the one in front of her, which struck the next one and so on. Five vehicles were involved in this tragic car accident. There were eight other people that were injured as a result of the accident, one with serious injuries.
A horrific head-on collision recently occurred in Enfield, Massachusetts, and both female drivers, ages 58 and 76, were pronounced dead shortly following the crash. The car accident occurred on Route 5 when one car was traveling north and crossed the double yellow line and hit the other driver head on, according to the police sergeant leading the accident investigation. Both drivers were trapped in their cars following the accident
