We are confident and experienced in the area of Social Security Disability. We have gained tremendous experience over the years of handling these claims and are confident we can facilitate the process for you or your loved one filing for Social Security Disability (SSI, SSDI) benefits.

Are you eligible for SSDI or SSI benefits?

SSDI is Social Security Disability Insurance and it is an earned benefit that you only qualify for depending on the amount of time that you have worked. The amount of time that you must have worked in order to earn SSDI benefits will also vary depending on your age. Another requirement is that you must have a disability that prevents you from doing any type of work that you are qualified to perform. You will need to provide medical proof of your illness or medical issues.

SSI is a means-based program available not only to the disabled but the elderly as well. You do not need work experience to qualify for SSI.

The application process to apply for SSDI or SSI can be quite intimidating therefore hiring a social security lawyer is recommended to streamline the process. This process involves several steps. If your initial application is denied, the next step is to request a reconsideration of your claim. If the reconsideration is denied, the next step is to request a hearing by an Administrative Law Judge. At this hearing, you will need to be present with the attorney. If the hearing decision is not favorable we will appeal to the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review.

During this process, our office is available to answer any questions or concerns. Our experience and our success over the years with SSDI and/or SSI is invaluable in this process

If you are wondering whether you might qualify for SSDI benefits, please call for a free consultation.
